How do I retrieve a forgotten password or username?

If you sign in with email and have forgotten your password:

1. On the sign-in screen, tap Continue with email.
2. If the screen says Create account, tap I already have an account.
3. Type your email address and tap Forgot your password?
4. Open the link we email you and choose a new password.

You’ll see “If that address has an account, a reset link is on its way.” If nothing arrives within a few minutes, check your junk folder and the spelling of your address.

If you sign in with Apple or Google, you don’t have a Surplus password. Sign in with Apple or Google again.

You don’t need a username to sign in. Surplus gives you one, like SteadyOtter4821, and you’ll find it in Profile › Settings › Profile.
